Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use instapatch.co.uk, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. Instapatch is a brand of Allbase Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 09611962, VAT number GB221452939, at Cutter Mill, Tileyard North, Wakefield, WF1 5FY.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you place an order or contact us. This includes your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and the details of your enquiry or order. We ask for a phone number at checkout for delivery updates and so we can contact you about your delivery if we need to. On our contact forms it is optional. If you pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, it passes us your name, email address, phone number and delivery address for the order. We do not store your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.
We collect anonymous statistics about how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and the country a visit comes from. These statistics do not use cookies and do not identify you.

How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for seven years to meet HMRC requirements. Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed to deal with your query. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Patchworks photo submissions
If you send us a photo of a repair for Patchworks, we collect the photo, the surface you repaired, anything you tell us about the job, your email address and, if you give one, your name. We use them to decide whether to publish the repair and to let you know when it goes up. Your email address is never shown on the site.
We look at every submission before anything is published. Nothing goes on the site automatically. Photos taken on a phone usually carry the location where they were taken, and we remove that information before a photo is published, so it is not passed on to anyone viewing the site.
We keep submissions we do not publish for up to twelve months, then delete the photos and the record. Published photos stay up until you ask us to take them down. You can change your mind at any time: email hello@instapatch.co.uk and we will remove your photo from the site and delete it.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers needed to run the service: Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Supabase for account and order data, an address lookup service for the addresses you search for at checkout, our website host, which also provides the anonymous statistics, and the delivery carrier, directly or through our manufacturing partner. We never sell your data.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, email hello@allbase.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
